The foundation of any strong community starts with investing in public safety and supporting the men and women who risk their lives daily to maintain it. Having served as a law enforcement officer for over 30 years and as the leader of Florida's largest law enforcement union, as well as the president of the Martin County and Palm Beach County Police Benevolent Associations, I know the challenges our law enforcement officers face and the resources needed to perform their essential jobs effectively better than any other candidate in this race. The county's future success depends heavily on the investments we make in our police officers, firefighters, EMS workers, and all first responders.
